Kia ora, I’m Alexx!

I’m a Kiwi solo traveller who’s been living on the road full-time since 2019. What started as a one-way ticket out of my 9-5 travel marketing job has turned into six years (and counting) of exploring more than 60 countries, chasing epic experiences, unique stays and unforgettable meals along the way.

My guides are obsessively detailed because I know how frustrating it is to find travel advice that sounds great but totally falls apart when you try to follow it. I test every route, make all the mistakes so you don’t have to, and share what actually works and what doesn’t.

If you’re into balancing comfort with value, bucket list moments with authentic experiences, and smart planning with spontaneity, you’re in the right place.

How we travel matters.

Tourism has the power to support local communities, to redistribute wealth and to foster cultural understanding, butttt it can also put pressure on resources, price out locals and harm the very places we’re trying to enjoy.

Travelling responsibly means doing what we can to minimise the negative impacts of our trip while maximising the good.
