Africa & Middle East travel guides

This corner of my site is definitely the quietest at the moment! I’ve explored a handful of destinations across these regions, but haven’t had the chance to venture beyond Morocco, Jordan, UAE and Türkiye.

A quick note on geography: I’m well aware that the Middle East isn’t a continent, but it’s a recognised region that is often combined with Africa adventures due to popular flight paths serviced by Gulf airlines.

Also totally aware that Türkiye straddles Europe and Asia, you’ll find that it lives on both of those pages too!
