My solo travel life actually began in the USA, my first ever solo trip was when I moved from little ol’ New Zealand to San Diego, California for a six month university exchange at 20 years old. You could say I jumped into the deep end! I came home, finished my degree, landed an internship at a travel agency, and have been working in travel ever since.
