Clean and tidy in general. They’ve puzzles and a beautiful huge chess to play in the dining room. The bedroom was really nice as well. Couldn’t enjoy the backyard coz it was raining but it seems lovely too.

Room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Back door slid open to the lush flowers and trees. The hot tub was perfect after a cold and wet walk to Seal Colony. It was definitely well maintained and we enjoyed our one night stay here as we were driving through to Abel Tasman.

What a wee gem this was to stay in, it was immaculately clean, had everything we needed, very comfy bed and a brilliant shower, close to town and quiet. The host is just lovely. We couldn’t rate this high enough.

Westport is a lovely funky little town with a museum and great spots to eat and meander about. If you're going to Westport - be sure to take in Cape Foul Wind - beautiful walkways and as true a rough rugged West Coast experience as you will get.

Westport has a lot to offer and one day was not enough. There is really a lot to do and see and explore in this area. We went to Denniston Mine, walked on the Kawatiri trail by the harbor, the seal colony and the lighthouse. Tauranga Bay and the estuaries are worth exploring.

Westport has some lovely estuary walks where you can see herons, weka and stilts. There are many friendly cafes with good food. The prices everywhere are reasonable. You can do trips to see a lighthouse, seals, beaches. It is bike friendly. You can bike to all of these on a cycle path. Further afield Denniston and Coalbrookdale have 1 hour historic walks. Once Coal Town reopens in 2024 it will again have a museum.
Had an absolute fantastic stay at Bazil's. Didn't intend to go as far north as Westport, but due to lack of lodging elsewhere we ended up in Westport at Bazil's... FANTASTIC!!! Would book there again for sure. Funky and fun property. Laid back atmosphere. Eclectic but clean and tidy. Will take advantage of surf lessons next time. Definitely hit up Whanake Gallery & Espresso Bar and The West Coast Pie Company... both Stellar!
A lovely place to stay with a very lovely host. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, and in a nice quiet location just outside of Westport. The pub next door had excellent food just a 1 minute walk away, and the breakfast offered was all you can eat, with homemade bread, preserves, tea, coffee, milo, fruit, cereal - very tasty. Would be where I stayed again if I headed back to Westport.
Fabulous hosts, comfortable bed, warm room and clean facilities. The pot of tea and homemade biscuits offered when I arrived where greatly appreciated. The breakfast and coffee kept me going until dinner. Very relaxed and comfortable setting. Walking distance to town and restaurants. I will definitely be staying on my next visit to Westport.
The Barn is cosy, homely and comfortable and only a short drive out of Westport township. It was well equipped with everything we needed.
We loved the rural setting and the fireplace was an added bonus. If you prefer not to be in a standard motel room, you'll love it here.
By far the best place to stay in Westport. Modern, clean and stylish with plenty of space. Has everything you need and more as the kitchen is well equipped. Location, off street parking and quietness make this an excellent choice, I never stay anywhere else now.
Great location for my stay in Westport. Down watching son play rugby - so being a stones throw away from the main Buller ground was great.
Nice comfortable bed and plenty of room in the lounge area.
Really impressed by the shower as well.
The hotel when we turned up for the weekend was CLOSED, we had not been advised by Booking.com or the hotel.
Very bad form, considering its was the weekend of the Buller Marathon and so no rooms available anywhere else.
Very clean, comfortable and well appointed apartment.
The owner immediately attended a fridge issue - no inconvenience to us.
Good location in the centre of Westport, which is both a positive and a negative.
Even in a country where hoteliers take care to offer well-appointed and clean units, BCoP stands out. Really comfy, easy access to downtown Westport, nice outdoor space.
What a great place to stay while at Westport. Everything you need all within walking distance to cafes and restaurants.
Modern apartment with that personal touch.
