Want to find somewhere epic to stay in Queenstown or Wanaka while supporting local? Goodstays is a Kiwi-owned and operated holiday home agency, with a huge variety of apartments and houses around the Queenstown Lakes area.
We spent a couple of nights at a gorgeous brand new home a few minutes out of Wanaka, No. 9 Stackbrae, at the end of my South Island road trip. Three bedrooms, huge open plan kitchen, dining and living area, an outdoor deck with seating and a BBQ, and the ideal location for a skiing getaway.

What’s the house like?
There’s a huge main bedroom with a ranch slider that lets in loads of natural light, and has an ensuite complete with bath and shower.
